In Wit, Puur en allerlei kleuren

Maak je eigen modeling chocolate mee! Zie recept hieronder.

1 kilogram zakje

Zelf te kleuren met de Americolor poeder kleurstoffen in onze shop

Imitatie chocolade     

Modelling Chocolate

2 kilos coverture (candy melts)

800 gr glucose for dark, 700 gr for white

9 teaspoons water for dark chocolate and 7 for white chocolate

½ tsp glycerine (optional... will keep chocolate from cracking)

Color gel (if using - does not need to be oil based)*

Heat coverture until melted (au bain marie or micorwave - do not overheat!!!!). Slightly heat glucose until more liquid and mix in water. Mix color gel into glucose if using. Mix glycerine into mixture if using. Add glucose mixture to melted chocolate and stir just until incorporated. DO NOT OVERMIX. Spread onto greaseproof paper and cover with another sheet. Flatten to about 1 cm thickness and let cool. When cool, kead until smooth. 

*If using more than a tsp of color, remove ½ tsp of glucose for every tsp of color.

Will keep for several months if kept wrapped in a container.
